A social illness affecting life as it seems. My attempt at trying to understand and combat a city's, er, a nation's ailment.  If dog owners in the USA can carry their dog’s crap in plastic packets, couldn't ‘spitters’ in India carry their own spit too? Read on for more.
I would love to hear your views!

  1. Deepa, it appears that the reflex of spitting has been fused at genetic-molecular level in the Indians. I know you and I are not a part of it but we are the 'Eloi' and the 'Morlocks' will soon have us for a lunch. If their tribe has multiplying by factors, ours has been dwindling at a faster pace.

    1. You made me read up Eloi and Morlocks. Shudder. Enforcement and mentality. No other solution I guess. You can take a horse to the water, you can't make it drink! Unless it wants to drink by itself!

    1. No, Ash, it is there in UK in areas predominantly populated by Indians. More shame on us.

    2. I have seen these in USA too - in cities like NJ. More Indian populated than others. But the trait doesn't seem to be limited to India only, though its a key player. A couple other Asian countries are in too, though that's no excuse!

  5. You seriously think they will carry it.. NO WAY..
what we need is find a person who spits, then collect a 1000 people , go to his house and make them spit on his nice and shiny carpet or furniture.. THEY WILL soon stop spitting Here and THERE :)

    1. Unfortunately they do. Warnings are no longer useful. We've reached a point where only rigorous punishment could be depended on to change the status quo.
